Hollywood and Blood Diamonds

Warner Bros. is gearing up to release The Blood Diamond, a movie staring
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Connelly. “The story that is going to be told is
a true story, and we applaud that it is going to be told”, said World Diamond
Council chairman Eli Izhakoff. The movie is said to focus on the illicit diamond
trade that funded the civil war in Sierra Leone.

There's a
new water boy in town! Curt Parker
“I
would like to say how excited we are about our new private label designer water,
which is a major strategic step in our brand development,” said Curt Parker.
It’s all about design, our private label designer water will help get our
message out that we are the jewelry store who understands design.

In a recent interview Curt was
asked if he had a name for his designer water. I love our label so much I call
it “Diamond Water”, clean and pure as diamonds and it taste good. CP
water has no calories,
fat, sodium or sugar. CP water keeps your body healthy and can be served ice
cold or room temperature. Some say it is a conversation piece and a work of art.
Come in today and try it. Best of all it's free!

Peridot
Birthstone for August

Often called the “volcanic gem,” peridot usually forms in the rocks
created by violent volcanic activity. On rare occasions, peridot also
has been found in meteorites that have fallen to earth. No matter the
source, whether from Mother Nature’s fiery depths or rocks that are
truly out of this world, peridot has caught the attention of humans for
thousands of years. Ranging from a light yellowish green to darker,
richer shades of olive, peridot conjures images of young spring grass or
the greens of a rich, dark forest at twilight.
