CAN MAKE YOUR RING FIT
Finger Mate hinged shanks
can make your rings
easy to put on over enlarged knuckles. |
 |
Finger Mate hinged shanks open wide to go over an
enlarged knuckle easily, then close and lock securely for a safe and comfortable fit.
No more twisting and turning. No more forcing rings
on and off.
Finger Mate shanks are available in a wide variety
of widths, styles and all finger sizes, in 14K yellow or white gold and platinum, to
replace the conventional shanks of lady's and men's rings.
What is a hinged shank?
The shank of a ring is the lower part, the part that is generally not
seen unless the ring twists and turns on the finger.
A ring with a conventional fixed shank must be made large enough to
go over your "knuckle" (finger joint) regardless of how enlarged the knuckle is.
This makes the ring too large in the wearing position, allowing it to twist and turn on
your finger.

Can any ring be fitted with a Finger Mate hinged shank?
Finger Mate hinged shanks are available in a wide variety of styles and
widths to accommodate almost any ring.
What is it made of?
Finger Mate hinged shanks are made of 14K gold or platinum exclusively.
No steel springs are ever used in our shanks.
How does it work?
Finger Mate's exclusive locking mechanism is fully automatic. There are
no buttons to push nor are there any dangling flaps or wires.
|
Is this something new?
If you've never heard about it before, of course it's new to you, but Finger Mate has
been making hinged shanks since 1964! for over 11,000 fine Jewelers.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! The two-position locking mechanism not only provides an extra margin of
safety, but it also provides relief if the ring should become too tight on particularly
hot or muggy days. Furthermore, a concealed spring prevents the ring from opening too far.
There is always a continuous band surrounding the finger.
How can I see it?
